First Steps Early Pregnancy Triage Clinic is a first contact, “one-stop-shop” triage clinic for anyone newly pregnant. Our interdisciplinary team consists of family physicians, nurse practitioners and midwives who will provide timely access and triage of prenatal investigations, supporting your best health outcome.
Urgent Concerns or Labour
If you are less than 20 weeks pregnant or are postpartum and have an after-hours emergency, please go to the emergency department at Royal Inland Hospital, or call 911.
If you are 20 weeks of pregnancy or more with an after-hours pregnancy related emergency please go to or call the Labour and Delivery Room at Royal Inland Hospital (250) 314-2635
